My 5-Day Carnival Sensation Cruise

Taken Saturday, 01/10/04 - Thursday, 01/15/04

Click one of the thumbnails below for a larger photo ......

Here is Tampa Bay from the boat - I think that the building on the right is the Marriott.

Another one of Tampa before we left the dock and I think that is the arena or whatever they call that thing.

Here's a beautiful one of the dock as the thrusters were pushing us sideways - that's what was the noisiest and bumpiest of any of the movements.

The tail - I never realized in looking at them in pictures that they were actually the smoke stacks - stuff comes out both sides plus down the middle.

That's the lobby bar - think it's called the Grand Atrium Bar or something like that and is in the middle of the boat - 7 floors & then a skylight.

Another shot from looking down at the Atrium, looks like I was on the 3rd floor.

This is the jogging trail and think that it's on the 5th level. There is also a place on the back where I hung out when the sun was shining.

This one is looking down at the main pool and where all of the action was, the main restaurants were also on this level.

Another one of the pools - and they had some pretty darn neat life rafts, but guess that we didn't need them (but they held like 150 ppl each!).

The main stairs off of the lobby - they had a piano player and flute player there most of the time too.

They have some pretty cool elevators too - off of the main lobby anyways and reminded me of riding the one's at the Westin Bonaventure.

Early morning Grand Cayman - all of the little boats come in as we entered port.

Grand Cayman again and this is another Carnival ship that must have been following us - didn't see it until we got close to land.

Another cruise ship from the Caymans, there were also a couple of Princess Cruise Lines behind us too.

7:00am - my first sunrise that I've seen like that in years ...... picture #01.

7:05am - sunrise pic #02

7:10am - still rising.

7:15am - pic #04 and still rising.

Another sunrise pic - guess that I got bored of the sun.

And another of the sun.

And another ...... think that it's time for a nap - or was it breakfast :?)

This one came from my horse riding photos, still a pretty cool sunrise pic.

One of the docks in Cozumel - another ship showed up sometime soon after and parked next to us.

Same dock - still no boat yet.

Taken from the base of the dock looking back at our ship - plus a Princess Cruise ship that was parked next to us.

Looking down at the water while the motors were running.

And the wake that we created ......

This was another sunrise on a different day - Wednesday I think (sure didn't do any sleeping in!).

One of the shots as we were teathering off the boat on our ride to Grand Cayman.

Here's me getting off the boat in Cozumel - kewt, ain't I :)

Me and my trusty horse - think his name was Electric something but he was a good horse - wanted to run but I wouldn't let him.

The ole watering hole at the Dude Ranch, Cozumel Mexico.

Another one of our ship while teathering in Grand Cayman.

Everyone was having a great time on Monday afternoon!

Teather away .....

And away ......

And away .......

And away ...... enough all ready!

Shopping on the streets of Grand Cayman - souvenior shops gallour!

Sitting on the 2nd floor bar sipping strawberry daquiri's looking out over the Bay in Grand Cayman :)

Grand Cayman - it was a tourist zoo!

And finally - looking down the street at Cayman, lots of new building going up and I was surprised to find a Hard Rock Cafe - just like home!
