What can I say, pretty busy weekend to end another busy week. Monto and I went to Home Depot on Friday night to pick up a Sprinklerite system - it's this tank that added chemicals to the well water to stop some of the rusting issues I have on the drive and house. I had to hook that up to the well on Saturday which was interesting, got soaked in the process but finally realized that I needed to turn the circuit breaker off. We'll see if it works, seemed to have used up too much chemical in just one day.

I also was able to go for a massage appointment on Friday, was never able to get there by 5pm unless I was on vacation before, but now I think that I can go as often as I would like. It could get addicting - but man is it worth it! Another thing that is my newest addiction are these "Great Start" cresent/egg/sausage/cheese deals - 2 minutes in the microwave and it's exactly like the BK version without even leaving the house. Sure, they're going to kill me - but they sure are delicious :)

And the lawn is coming back, need a new mower as my self propelled isn't propelled any more, and it's a pain in the butt to have to push! I've been holding off looking for a good deal, and besides I all ready bought a new Serta mattress and box springs. But that's a different story - I don't have that yet either but it should be delivered on Wednesday (ordered it on-line with no trial - but bet that it's the sweest thing that I have). I think that I've owned my current box spring for like 20 years, and think that it's about time for a new one (and those counting sheep, they'll have to move to the next house :).

I'm ready for next week, well tomorrow and then the days after that - starting to get into a routine and think that I'm getting a handle on things. The job certainly keeps me busy - and this working from home thing is still freaking me out a bit too! I guess that's about it - it's DANG hot and in the 90's (++ humidity) but in another 3 months things will be cooling down! Good night for another night - talk with you again some other day.

Sorry, but I never got around to showing you my finished product with the filing cabinet - I finished it yesterday and if you'd like you can click here and have a look. It turned out to be pretty much like what the picture was showing - and now I've got a big drawer to hide all of my piles in :) Kind of an uneventful day today, only one call today but then the fun begins tomorrow and then it'll be Friday before we know it.

All's well with me - hoping the same with you. And that's about it for another day, make it a great week!

I got a new filing cabinet yesterday that I ordered off the web to match my new desk and have been putting that together all morning. If you'd like to see a sample of the finished product, you can do so by clicking here - it's just that mine doesn't quite look like that yet. And the poor UPS man that had to deliver it - the thing weighs 145 lbs as he dragged it up to my door

I kind of enjoy putting things like that together, and this is deep if it comes with glue but I'll have it together by the end of the weekend. Who knows, I might even share a pic - guess we'll see how it comes out looking in the end. Cloudy here today too with some rumbles of thunder, might not even be able to mow the lawn today. I hope that your all are enjoying your weekend as well and I'll talk with you on another day.

Well, not too much to say - it's another Sunday night and it's back at it again in the morning! I didn't do all too much this weekend, but sure did sweat my butt off doing it. Seemed like it took me all day yesterday to get the lawn mowed and it was hot - I think that the "feels like" was 102' or something like that. And I was lucky cuz the other night my neighbor from across the street knocked on my door and asked if I wanted some left over sod - I was like heck yeah and went over and grabbed about 10 chunks. So, after I finished up the lawn I had to bury some spriggs before my sod dried up - and that took me at least the good part of another hour. Just filling in some last few holes to go - another month and the front yard should be good to go.

And that reminds me, I took some pics of my backyard today (well, you get to see one) and then looked back at what my lawn looked like in April and how far it's come. I don't even think that I shared the "before" pics before cuz I was too bummed out, but now I'm really feeling there might be hope. Take a look at "before" and then "after" and you can see what I mean. Well sure, there are a ton of weeds in there but at least it's all green :)

Today I slacked and cleaned and laundered, grocery shopped and thought about doing some work. And here I now sit, ready to get the next week underway. Life is going ok and I'm starting to get the hang of this position - I am the E-Mail King! My phone bill for the last month was $1.12 on business calls - so if I can't e-mail someone than forget it. But my phone rings and I have 11 revenue calls each week - thankfully only one tomorrow but after that I'm in it deep until Friday. Wears me out some days - and my mailbox overfloweth with new rates to load and the such. Oh, and one sweet little program that I just got privy to is Adobe 6.0 Professional - I can now email and edit anything. Cool little program - does pretty much just about everything.

Well, gotta run - let me know how you are and what you've been up to, and I'll talk with you on another day ....... hopefully more than once a week! It's just a computer thing, I crank all day and I'm all written out by the time it gets time to sit down again. Hope you can understand, and good night to you.

Here it is another Sunday night and we are more than half way through another year - how was your 4th of July holiday? It rained here most of the day on the 4th so that allowed me to catch up on some work and then went and had dinner with a couple and their 6 month old son here from New Orleans. It was kind of fun, drove the beach drive, had dinner and even saw a couple of fireworks here and there too. And it's a full time job being a parent ...... not too sure that I could handle that.

Saturday turned out to be a very nice and sunny day - got my carpets cleaned at the crack of dawn, well more like 8:15am but it was early enough for me! Then I set out on getting my riding lawn mower running again, been having battery issues for a while so I had to take the old one out and clean it up - then bought a brand spanking new one for $20 at Walmart. It started right up and I almost enjoyed mowing the lawn this week - need to use that baby every weekend. I got a little too much sun though, with it starting out cloudy I wasn't ready for the blazing sun so I'm a little red tonight (sorry, no webcam image either!). Then got my haircut and went back over to the Marriott, had dinner and called it a night. Today I've been slacking though, got caught up on a bunch more work but didn't do much house cleaning but I DID get out and hit up the Walmart Superstore for my weekly groceries.

And here I sit tonight getting ready for it to all begin again, once it starts there's no end until Friday comes by, I'm just hoping that things get easier the more I get things set up - that's the goal here anyways. Well, I guess that's it for another night - but just think, Labor Day is right around the corner! Have a great week.
