A Day (or Two) in the Life of Scott Hanno

Sunday night, and a rainy night at that ....... but we didn't see nearly as much thunder and lightning as they said we'd see. Watered my lawn anyway so I'm hoping that my sod starts to green up any day now. And one of my Sycamore trees is really starting to bloom in the backyard - but the other one that I planted the same day hasn't shown any sign of coming back to life yet ...... gives the term "late bloomer" a new meaning :) And it's back to work tomorrow, house is cleaned, groceries are shopped and right now I'm kicking back watching a little Law & Order but it's a repeat that I've seen before :(

And I've been trying to get my webcam to post to my site today but it's been really frustrating, I know my settings are right but it keeps kicking me out telling me it's wrong so I finally gave up after a few hours of trying ...... maybe another day I'll figure it out. And on my new site, I guess that I had problems with my DNS settings on Friday night and Saturday morning, but after I e-mailed support they fixed it in a matter of minutes, not sure what happened with it but wouldn't pull up any of my pages. And I added a Discussion Group page today too, not sure if it'll get much use out of it but think that it's pretty neat just the same. I also added a e-store too which includes a sample site - so if I ever figure out what I've got to sell than I'll be all set. The site is coming along though, still not sure what my final goal is yet but someday I'll figure it out.

Well, I guess that's it for another day - should be another busy week but I'll be counting down the days until my vacation begins on Saturday so that'll be something to keep me looking forward to. I hope you have a GREAT week, and I'll be posting again one of these days - real soon I hope!

Saturday night here, last one in March 2002 and the month is almost over ....... can't wait until next weekend when the Daylight Savings time thing begins! Today was a pretty busy day but got alot accomplished, Montie and I got our hair cut and also got the entire yard mowed and detailed - fertilized it again too. I even dug up one of my sprinklers and moved it about 4 feet away to make sure that it covered my new sod that went on top of my old "moat" ditch thing that was always filled with water ........ thank you again Bay County for finally ridding me of that nasty standing water! Plus, my front lawn increased by about 25% - and once the new grass greens up it's going to be looking totally awesome!!!

And dang if this town ain't booming with Spring Breakers, Front Beach Road has had traffic backed up for miles all weekend. I tried to go to Walmart last night but gave up after I looked at the line of traffic, then went this morning but think that it took me almost an hour to go what normally takes 10 minutes ....... but it did look like everyone was having a really good time. Went to Subway tonight too to get some dinner - and that place was packed and took almost an hour to get there and back, not really worth it in the long run.

Well, I guess that's it for another day - Spring is in the air and that's for sure. One more week and then I'm on vacation, not really going anywhere but can't wait to just be able to hang around the house and get alot of things done. So, till the next time I'll talk to you soon enough :)

Well, it's Wednesday evening and the "hump" is over ....... another busy day at the Marriott in Panama City Beach! Business is going wild, the demand has been overflowing so fast that I can't even forecast the revenue fast enough. And the phones were messed up again, yesterday they went completely dead after a thunderstorm - today we couldn't make long distance calls outbound which messed up our entire networks ....... guess we'll see what tomorrow brings :)

The weather today was a beautiful Spring day, mid 70's and sunshine all day and I really love this weather this time of year. Cool nights and warm days, everything is turning green and it's great to see! My baby sycamore trees that I planted last Spring are almost starting to bloom - they were just sticks for so long I wasn't even sure they were still alive. Well, that's all for now and hope that tomorrow goes a little bit smoother, but guess that only time will tell that one.

Tuesday night here in Panama City Beach, spent most of the night trying to get my web site url working and FrontPage 2002 screwed me all up ...... last time that I use that as my web page publisher! And the Blogger has been hit or miss, finally got it up on my site and hope that you will check it out from time to time - not sure where I'm going with it but hope that you will come along with me :) My web addy is http://www.scotthanno.com, I hope that I can figure out what to do with my place in the world.
